Ein Moin vom Strand,
wir freuen uns über dein Interesse an der WHEELS & WAKE. Nachfolgend findest du ein paar Infos sowie die Möglichkeit, dich als Aussteller an zu melden bzw. Interesse zu bekunden. An Strand des Beachclubs Nethen gibt es nur begrenzt Platz. Wir sammeln daher zunächst einmal das Interesse potentieller Aussteller. Die Infos und das Formular zur Interessensbekundung findest du weiter unten.
Die WHEELS & WAKE findet statt im Beachclub NETHEN, nahe Oldenburg: Bekhauser Esch 170, 26180 Rastede, https://beachclub-nethen.de/.
Uns ist es wichtig, den „Strandlook“ unserer Veranstaltung bei zu behalten, daher verwenden wir für Aussteller einheitliche Pavillons/Pagoden, die wir selber anmieten müssen. Dein Vorteil: Die Pagoden sind bei deiner Ankunft fix und fertig für Dich aufgebaut. Aus unserer Sicht machen gute Aussteller die Veranstaltung durch ihre Anwesenheit interessanter. Wir berechnen die Anmietkosten fast 1:1 weiter. Lediglich ein kleiner Zuschlag für unseren Aufwand beim Aufbau.
Die WHEELS & WAKE findet statt vom Donnerstag-Abend – Sonntag statt. Am Freitag haben wir quasi eine Doppelveranstaltung an zwei Orten: Qualifying für die NETHEN 1/32 Meile im Beachclub NETHEN, FLATTRACK Rennen im 20 km entfernten Moorwinkelsdamm. Wir bieten einen Bus-Shuttleservice zwischen den Veranstaltungen an. Die Erfahrung aus dem letzten Jahr ist, dass sich die Besucher der WHEELS & WAKE gut zwischen den beiden Event Orten verteilen, ein etwas größerer Teil aber beim FLATTRACK in Moorwinkelsdamm vor Ort ist.
Gerne könnt ihr euren Pavillon schon ab Donnerstag belegen. Da wir aber wissen, dass jeder Tag mehr auch Aufwand und Kosten für euch bedeutet, ist ein Aufbau auch Freitag und im Laufe des Samstag Morgen möglich. Den genauen Ablauf der WHEELS & WAKE findet ihr hier: W ⚓️ W Timetable.
Die Kerntage sind im Beachclub Nethen am Samstag und Sonntag. Wir sind also unsererseits entspannt, wenn ihr im Laufe des Freitags oder am Samstag Morgen den Pavillon einräumen wollt.
Die Pavillons sind auf dem WHEELS & WAKE Gelände in Kreisform (siehe Bild oben) aufgebaut, so dass sie eine Art „Dorfplatz“ um das Hauptgeschehen bilden, auf dem die schönsten Motorräder ausgestellt sind, die Motorräder vorgestellt werden und auch die Siegerehrung stattfindet. Alle Pavillons sind also im ungefähr gleichen Abstand zum Geschehen. Da das Interesse von Ausstellern jedes Jahr deutlich wächst, könnte es notwendig werden, die Pagoden in zwei Halbkreisen auf zu stellen.
Abends wird der „Dorfplatz“ via Lichterketten illuminiert. Nachts ist das Gelände bewacht. Die Pavillons haben Seitenwände und können geschlossen werden. Zur Anlieferung an die Pavillons ist die Sandfläche befahrbar.
ACHTUNG: Die Anzahl der aufstellbaren Pagoden am Strand ist naturgemäß vom Platz her beschränkt. Zumal wir uns bemühen, den Blick zum See nicht zu verbauen. Jedes Jahr haben wir zudem größeres Interesse. Eine frühzeitige Interessenbekundung ist also zu empfehlen. Wir bitten um Verständnis, wenn wir aus Platzgründen die Anzahl der Aussteller beschränken müssen und weisen an dieser Stelle schon mal darauf hin, dass wir Aussteller im Bereich Classic & Custom bevorzugen, da sie dem Charakter der WHEELS & WAKE entsprechen.
Da wir aus eigener Erfahrung wissen, dass sowohl die Besucher wie auch die Aussteller am letzten Tag zeitig nach Hause wollen, wird die WHEELS & WAKE Sonntag nach dem Ende der NETHEN 1/32 Meile Finals schon im Laufe des Nachmittags enden.
Die Strandpavillons haben eine Größe von 5x5m und sind mit oder ohne Boden zu bekommen.

We’re delighted about your interest in WHEELS & WAKE. Below you’ll find some information and the opportunity to register as an exhibitor or express your interest. There’s limited space on the beach at the Nethen Beach Club. We’re therefore first gathering interest from potential exhibitors. You’ll find the information and the form for expressing interest below.
The WHEELS & WAKE takes place at the Beachclub NETHEN, near Oldenburg: Bekhauser Esch 170, 26180 Rastede, https://beachclub-nethen.de/.
It’s important to us to maintain the „beachy look“ of our event, so we use uniform pavilions/pagodas for exhibitors, which we have to rent ourselves. Your advantage: The pagodas are fully set up for you upon your arrival. In our view, good exhibitors make the event more interesting through their presence. We pass on the rental costs almost exactly, with only a small surcharge for our setup effort.
Wheels & Wake takes place from Thursday evening to Sunday. On Friday, we essentially have a double event at two locations: qualifying for the Nethen 1/32 mile at the Nethen Beach Club, and the Flattrack race at Moorwinkelsdamm, 20 km away. We offer a bus shuttle service between the events. Last year’s experience was that visitors to Wheels & Wake were well distributed between the two event locations, but a slightly larger number were present at the Flattrack in Moorwinkelsdamm.
You are welcome to reserve your pavilion starting Thursday. However, since we know that every additional day means additional effort and expense for you, setup is also possible on Friday and during Saturday morning. You can find the exact schedule for WHEELS & WAKE here: W ⚓️ W Timetable.
The core days at the Nethen Beach Club are Saturday and Sunday. So, we’re happy for you if you want to set up your pavilion during Friday or Saturday morning.
The pavilions are set up in a circle on the WHEELS & WAKE grounds (see picture above), forming a kind of „village square“ around the main event, where the most beautiful motorcycles are exhibited, the motorcycles are presented, and the award ceremony takes place. All pavilions are therefore at approximately the same distance from the event. As exhibitor interest grows significantly each year, it may be necessary to set up the pavilions in two semicircles.
In the evening, the „village square“ is illuminated by fairy lights. The area is guarded at night. The pavilions have side walls and can be closed. The sand area is accessible for deliveries to the pavilions.
PLEASE NOTE: The number of pagodas that can be set up on the beach is naturally limited by space. This is especially true as we strive to not obstruct the view of the lake. Each year, we experience increasing interest. Therefore, early expression of interest is recommended. We ask for your understanding if we have to limit the number of exhibitors due to space constraints. We would like to point out that we prefer exhibitors in the Classic & Custom segment, as they reflect the character of WHEELS & WAKE.
Since we know from our own experience that both visitors and exhibitors want to get home early on the last day, WHEELS & WAKE will end on Sunday afternoon, after the NETHEN 1/32 Mile Finals.
The beach pavilions are 5x5m in size and are available with or without a floor.
